History of Vacuum Pump Development

With the advancement of vacuum applications, a wide variety of vacuum pumps have emerged, with pumping speeds ranging from a few tenths of a liter per second to hundreds of thousands or even millions of liters per second. As vacuum technology in production and scientific research demands an increasingly wide range of pressures, a vacuum pumping system composed of several vacuum pumps is often required to meet these requirements.

Due to the wide range of operating pressures involved in vacuum applications, no single type of vacuum pump can be fully applicable to all pressure ranges. Different types of vacuum pumps are used depending on the operating pressure range and requirements. For ease of use and to meet the needs of various vacuum processes, various vacuum pumps are sometimes combined according to their performance requirements and used in a system configuration.

Common vacuum pumps include dry screw vacuum pumps, water ring pumps, reciprocating pumps, sliding valve pumps, rotary vane pumps, Roots pumps, and diffusion pumps. These pumps are essential workhorses in vacuum processes across various industries in my country's national economy. In recent years, with the continuous rapid development of my country's economy, the downstream application industries related to vacuum pumps have maintained a rapid growth momentum. At the same time, driven by factors such as the continuous expansion of vacuum pump application fields, my country's vacuum pump industry has achieved sustained, stable and rapid development.
